Until it clears up have her apply baby powder under her arms. She can do this throughout the day.

Recipe for homemade deodorant:
2-3 TBSP Coconut oil
1/8 cup baking soda
1/8 cup arrowroot powder or cornstarch
essential oils (optional)
I tried one essential oil and it irritated my skin, so mine are scent free. I also use cornstarch.
I find you need to refrigerate it initially to harden. After that if you like to rub it on like regular deodorant, it needs to stay in the fridge. I usually take it out after it hardens and keep it out. I use it like a cream. It's more of a thick cream in the winter months, and more liquidy in the summer months.
