Most Askenazim like scotch. Sephardim love arak. Ask your liquor store for the best ones in your price range. They usually know all about what's good and what's "meh".

Red C is a chashuv wine. Unless you know if your boss is a scotch or bourbon fan, wine is the safer way to go.

Why don’t you start by how much you want to spend. Then call up your local wine store and have them recdommend something. There are many many many “choshuv wines”.

If you are sending to me, I'll take a bottle of Grey Goose vodka, please!

(After the day I've had today, I could really use it.)

Forgot to mention that I am out of town, so no kosher liquor store around. Although ideally, I would get what boss likes, I have no idea, so I was wondering if there's something safe and universal that everyone likes.

I'm no alcohol expert, and I don't know your budget, but I don't think you could go wrong by getting a classic like Woodford Reserve or Glenfiddich (the older the better, depending on your budget - 15 is fine, 18 is great, and 21 is over-the-top).
