Saw it in Mishpacha, so well played! Absolutely adorable! The ending made me sad for Laibel after his heartfelt confession, though. It made for a cute punch line but so unfair.

My girls actually thought that Simmy should've married Yossie, and Mimmy should've been with Laibel.
But since the story reported no real Shalom Bayis issues, they had to go with the explanation that you just never know when a shidduch can work out, and we shouldn't nix a shidduch too quickly.....

I think Laibel is a bit too rough around the edges for perfect Mimmy. Yossi would probably have a more stellar reputation. And considering Mimmy is an only child--I'm sure her parents wanted only the best!
