They know where they’ll be welcomed and won’t even get a bat of an eyelash....

They have no shame.

It's awful. And Jake Tapper is a fair weather friend of Jewish people.

This is ridiculous - the use of cockroach is not particularly associated with anit-Semitism.

It is generally used to describe people or things which will survive any attempt to annihilate - I've heard it used many times in joking but I have never heard it applied as specifically and seriously talking about Jews or any other ethnic group. The joke is based on the old non-scientific statement that only cockroaches will survive a nuclear war.

At this point, it is becoming like the boy who cried wolf - if one shrieks about anti-semitism where there isn't any, people will begin to legitimately discount any legitimate discussion of the issue.

There are none so blind as those who will not see.

You are deluded since you choose to ignore what you already know.

Cockroaches and termites are what the left thinks of Jews.

Try calling black or illegal immigrants cockroaches and termites. You will have ALL the progressives coming down on you at least publicly.

Seriously? "Cockroaches" is a common epithet for Chareidim in Israel, and the same parasite imagery was a huge part of Nazi propoganda.

Complaining of anti-Semitism when Soros, Bloomberg, and Steyer (who isn't actually Jewish) are linked together based on the fact that they are all big donors to campaigns while simultaneously excusing the cockroach comment beggars belief.

Sometimes a cigar is just a smoke.

I have used the cockroach expression to describe people and I have NEVER associated it with a particular ethnic group nor have I heard it being used in that manner.

Frankly this thread is the first time I have heard the particular association - especially in the secular world. I have no idea what the swirling paranoia is conjuring up as the latest "proof" of the anti-Semitism of people who aren't anti-Semitic.

All I can repeat is that the use of cockroaches to describe people or things which will never be eradicated used in a jocular manner is used n without any particular thought of it being anti-Semitic.

Jews were often depicted as rats - Trump describes Cohen and others as "rats" - are we now to think that every use of rat as a description of a person is meant as an anti-Semitic insult by Trump?

Again, if one keeps raising issues of anti-Semitism where there are none, real issues of anti-Semitism will be ignored.

What about the Jews being called termites? You are going to ignore that also?

Let me make sure I understand the rules correctly: in order for bigotry to occur, the person making the statement must be proven to have intended to express bigotry?

I'm sure Roseanne Barr and others will be happy for that clarification of the rules.

Yeah, kind of like when Farrakhan said, “I’m not anti Semite, I’m anti termite.” He didn’t mean Jews either, right? It’s quite sad when Jews defend this vile and despicable hatred.

It's the big lie. Keep saying that the left isn't antisemitic. When you lie, lie big and stick to it. Keep up your lie even at the risk of looking ridiculous.

Help me out here. Where did we see this before when certain Jews thought they were exempt from the antisemites they supported? Weren't they wiped out also? It's hazy, but didn't they also try to get in good by being willfully blind? I think they also supported disarming the citizens.

It sounds something like democratic socialist?

I thought we were trying to not make the Nazi comparisons? Fox, weren’t you the one who said that they should be avoided?

When I am right. I am right.

The democratic socialists take are taking plays right out of the national socialists' playbook on how to rise to power. Only a fool refuses to recognize the parallels or they are ignorant of history.

I think Fox might have meant that we don't call people nazis. I am not calling them nazis. I am pointing out the chilling parallels in how they are gaining power.

Did you see the AOC really is a puppet thead? Look at who her puppet master is.

Sorry, but I think it's time we stopped excusing this kind of behavior. Alan Dershowitz is right. Minimizing the Holocaust by making cheap, inaccurate comparisons is a form of Holocaust denial.

This is something that has no place on either side of the political spectrum, btw. People who minimize the magnitude and realities of the Holocaust by making facile comparisons are just as wrong and dangerous as people who claim it never happened at all. We need to get this message across.

You are not my mother. I never received a PM on this matter in any event.

The only time I compared any Democrats to the purveyors of murder was with the recent explanation of the Virginia governor of how after birth abortion works. If you can't see the parallels between murdering our handicapped citizens and murdering handicapped germans, even I feel sorry for you.

When we stop conversations about murdering handicapped people because they are handicapped PC has gone too far.

If we can't discuss the consequences of antisemitism because it offends PV sensibilities, then the PC censors have gone too far.

I spout the clear parallels between democratic socialists or progressives or whatever name they are calling themselves to the nazi rise to power. This is fact. Try not to censor fact.
