Why Does MSNBC Employ the racist “Rev.” Al Sharpton??

The infamous promoter of the Tawana Brawley hoax, and racist par excellence (remember the Freddy’s incident in which he voiced his hatred of Jews) is given a platform to spew his hate, not to mention he deems himself worthy of being the representative and mouthpiece for the black community.
He said outright this afternoon that Trump is the cause of today’s horrific attacks on the 2 mosques, and that since the shooter mentioned Trump’s name, it’s Trump’s responsibility to go to outrageous lengths to apologize for the killings and to give it non stop coverage.
Who does this vile racist think he is? And why is the liberal fake news media raising him to celebrity status after what he’s done?

I can't figure out why that guy is qualified to do anything, except maybe flip burgers.

It says quite a bit about MSNBC'S integrity that they give airtime to this hoaxer, let alone hire him as a commentator.

Please recall, too, that Sharpton was involved in escalating emotions during the 1990 pogrom in Crown Heights.

Oh, and his tax crimes make Paul Manafort's look positively small-time. Yet he has not been placed in solitary confinement.

And journalists wonder why on earth they are held in increasing disrepute for decades. It couldn't possibly have anything to do with promoting extortionists like Sharpton. It must be Trump!

As an aside, why do left-leaning people think that all conservatives hang onto whatever is happening on Fox News? Aside from watching a occasional clips of Tucker Carlson online, Fox News is not really a thing outside of retirement communities.
