my kids are always playing outside, and I always want to put my baby now 4 months old out with them. a chair is out cause she wants to roll and play on her tummy. I was thinking of putting a playpen out there, but what about when it rains?
I was looking at the kiddy pool, and voila! I lined it with a towel, and threw in some toys, and she's safe as can be!
plus the kids go in with her to play!\
and she can't roll onto the concrete- its great!!!

Micki I did that w/h our elephant pool the big one (treifa animal I know)  that someone gave us and used it for my twins last yr.

I used their baby blanket and at that stage they weren't moving but atleast they were outside w/h us all, w/h a mosquito net the reg ones for strollers covering them

she doesn't get rolled up- she just grabs it and shoves into her mouth.
she really is so good on her stomach- shes among the smarter babies who actually put their head down when she gets tired- I had kids who would scream witht heir heard one milimeter from the floor- they would not put their head down!
this one really rolls all over, she turns in circles and is starting to push up on her knees!
she has 2 teeth too!
she almost fell off my bed, I didn't realize she could get around so well.

Teeth wow my kids in general don't get teeth till approx 10 mnths. Though they make up for it in other ways for sure
