I’m so sorry Sequoia.
Does that mean you just lost your grandfather?
That must be so hard on top of everything else.
Wishing you a restful Shabbos.
I know it doesn’t take the place of your mother, not even close, but you have so many imamothers thinking of you.

Thank you so much
Yes
We weren’t super close (not because of the Jewish or non-Jewish thing; just because I didn’t get to see them very often), but he was a wonderful person and the most loving, caring, responsible husband, father, grandpa, and great-grandpa. His loss will be felt deeply by all who knew him, especially by my grandma. They were married for nearly 70 years.

I am so sorry! You've mentioned him lovingly before so I can only imagine how great the loss is.
But I didn't know your mother lived close by. I hope her presence is nourishing for you.

She doesn’t. She’s just even further now Sad

She will be in Ukraine for 3 months.

I'm not trying to be Pollyannadik with this: I'm glad that you miss her. It would be worse if you didn't.

Will be saying my weekly Tehillim for you. I'm sorry for your loss. Today my boys were cleaning my bookcase for Pesach and my 8 yr old put the Tehillim I've been using aside and said "Mommy needs this for when she bentches lecht tonight so that she could say Tehillim for her friend". Thinking of you , feel better.

Refuah sheleima Sequoia!

I am worried that I won't get around to posting a reminder on Thursday. Can y.'all have it in mind, and see to it that it gets posted?

If someone's able to help out as backup for day 30 (I think it's 145-150) it would make me feel so much better, I'm hoping to be able to say it but won't be home and worried I'll forget in all the chaos.
Thanks!
Refuah shlaima Sequoia!
