My fifth grade son doesn't generally love to read, but he loves the Tintin series. I would really appreciate any recommendations for similar series! TIA!

not sure if they are in print but jo and zette is by the same author as tintin. Only 3 or 3 books though.

I don't know the former but I remember Asterix. It does seem to be the what's next after Tin Tin but IIRC there may be some women's pics. (Am I thinking Hagar? Smile )

Unlike Hagar, or Garfield, etc., these are stories, not just one page, 3 or 4 panel cartoons.
I wish you well. The secular graphic novel genre isn't easy to navigate and you'll run out of stuff soon. And even though there's a plethora of Jewish graphic novels, if you have lending libraries available, I'd aim for a more varied literary diet. Not sure how to get your son there.
