So does that clarify that hes moving to BP?
Three men in the store all said NO. He'll live in Montreal and he will iyH come once in a while to BP.

He had a liver transplant years ago and is doing quite well and he will be moving to Boro Park. It has not been decided when they'll move but they will be moving.

Is it really called being “crowned”? Who decides who’s the next rebbe?

It's usually written in the will that is read out loud at the levaya

It means the father stipulated which of his sons should take his place as Rebbe.
Rebbes who do this solve so many problems down the road.
Look at all the MANY feuding brothers and relatives whose fathers didnt leave a Tzavaah stipulating who should be Rebbe and they became enemies and there are all out wars.
May the Skulener Rebbe A"H be blessed for this alone, for preventing hatred and Chilul Hashem!

Reb Yeshaya Yaakov, from Montreal, was announced as the succeeding, Rebbe, but all brothers will continue in leadership roles.
One of the brothers from BP will take over the BP shul, the other will take over the Williamsburg shul established by the heiliger Skulener Dayan, Rabbi Weinberger.
Rabbi Weinberger has given with a full heart his shul to the brother, who will be moving to Williamsburg. Anyone who knows him, knows what a tzadik he is. Unbelievable.

If you know Skulen, you know that wars would never happen.
Each and every member of that family is a tzadik or tzadekes.
Just as a case in point, look at what Rabbi Weinberger did. The shul that he put his sweat and blood into building, he has just passed off, making the announcement publically.
Everyone is in shock.

Wow. This is the way we should ALL be if we really want to bring Moshiach!

Meaning?
He announced that he is giving the shul to Reb Meyer. Reb Meyer will be moving to Williamsburg and assuming the role of Rav there.
Rabbi Weinberger will continue in position as dayan.

Thats what I heard in a store in BP saying today.
But, if the Montreal son will stay in Montreal, who will be in BP?
Who knows the truth?

Rabbi Weinberger was never Rav of the Williamsburg shul, he was the dayan and will continue being the dayan. The Williamsburg shul never had an official Rav and the dayan didn't even daven there every shabbos all tefilloa, he davened at his father's shul.

Rabbi Weinberger built up the WB shul with every ounce of his being. Every one knew it as "his" shul. To insinuate otherwise is odious, uneducated or just mean.
Of course, it was always the Rebbe's in actuality, but the dayan was the spiritual caretaker from A-Z.
