I don't cook when I'm sick. My husband brings me tea and takes care of what needs to be taken care of.

In that case: sandwich, cereal, bread with coldcuts. Depends on the age of your kids.. can they go grocery shopping alone?
If they can then they could buy bread rolls and cheese etc. If not I'd stick to what's in the house , in our case it would be cereal or frozen bread rolls that can be heated up.
