I have spoken to a
few friends in the last few days. I can count on more than one hand how many women, mostly single mothers, are dreading yom tov.
They feel so lonely, some dont have their kids over yom tov or have small children and need invites or they wont feel yom tov. (Same for shabbos..)
They feel different bec of the family situation.
They are struggling to make yom tov.
And this is just after purim which wasnt much fun either if you had no invite either.
Yom tov time can be a really challenging time for divorcees/single mums.
Do you know anyone like this?
Please remember her. Invite her, or send her something small to acknowledge her and she knows she's not forgotten. Just something.
It will mean so much!!

If anyone in BP would like to come over for a meal, we'd love to have you! If I know you already - awesome! If not, we can work through a verification.
Chag Kasher V'Sameach!
