I use as is. I realize that my children’s school places and Shidduchim are now doomed because of my treif house and lax standards. Wink

Sometimes I notice a sour type of smell and then I wash first. Otherwise I don’t. But I have to admit that I’m the type of person who purposely doesn’t take from the top of the pile...

Only the ones without a hechsher. Those I wash with soap, not just rinse. Don't ask me why, I have no clue...🙂

No. Part of making them involves super heating the aluminum to form it, no bugs or anything I kosher will survive that heat. Source: various hashgacha orgs explaining how they’re made

For pesach I only buy prepackaged or a full case which is enclosed in a box. I'm afraid if anyone in store touched it with chometz, think workers eating sandwiches while stacking them on shelves, or when people buying them before pesach for their chometz food still & don't watch.
