3 day Yom Tov doesn’t bother me. The part that bothers me is having to turn over the kitchen much earlier than usual. And having to shop and cook for chometz shabbos on isru chag!

I love Shavuos too, but 3 days in the summer weather is just a bit much.

I would go to a hotel in a nice area where I could go walking.
Maybe Jerusalem at a hotel that is walking distance to the old city and kotel.

Your lips don't get chapped? Your teeth aren't crying for proper brushing? Your hair doesn't need a good wash? Your kids don't need a good scrubbing in warm water with lots of shampoo and soap?

Why would my lips be chapped? Three day Chag doesn’t mean I can’t drink.
I use scope, and rinse my mouth out a LOT. It’s not ideal, but it works.
I wash my hair every other day, so waiting one more day won’t make it horrible.
I will be giving my kids a regular shower on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. We use warm water. My daughter won’t wash her hair, but that’s it.

That sounds painful, maybe you can ask a Rov what to use. Would olive oil work?

You’re right, I was looking at the wrong calendar!! My kids will get regular baths on Friday, and then anyway they don’t get baths again until Sunday night, so I don’t see the big deal.

I dont really focus on it that much. Like vacationing in miami and getting a bit sunburned! Who cares?? Its the tropics wooohooo! Lol.

Love love love 3 day yomtovs. Honestly, I would do even longer...
