My husband is finishing up 1L in 2 weeks! I wanna give him something cute- like make cookies or something- law themed.
Any ideas? Maybe something useful for his summer internship?

Does he own the book 1L by Scott Turow? Recommend for all law students!

You can get him a leather portfolio. This will come in handy for interviews this summer to hold his resume and any relevant papers or to jot things down about the firms to have at the interviews.

I was given this as a law student and I use it to this day. Love it. You can have initials embossed in the leather.

No brilliant ideas.

Just wanted to say ur super nice for thinking of it this way- I’m always focusing on how hard it is on me and our household - financially, practically etc. and what a treat it is that he gets to go to school. I’m not nasty about it but I do expect him to be super grateful...

I have bought him a beautiful designer briefcase, Apple headphones for gifts he loved. An upgraded suit wardrobe and a few ties (thankfully my parents gifted us with that) we are saving up to buy him a new computer in the summer.

Thanks, everyone!
Love the leather portfolio idea.
To amother seagreen- Of course 1L is hard! But it would be harder in the future if he didnt put in so much work now. I am so proud of my husband and for all his hard work he put in this year. He has been coming home every night at around 830 since August, and 1030-11 during finals season! I'm just so excited to spend a little time with him over the summer.

Enjoy your time with dh, OP. It's very rare, and gets rarer still as lawyers enter the workforce.
