Ok, so no one broke the tie so I took the initiative to choose a genre.
I chose this one because we did fiction for the past two months and now it’s time for some non-fiction.

I don’t have any suggestions, but thought of it when in one thread a few posters were recommending books on the history of housework and other such fascinating subjects.

I would also love books on things like mafia, Freemasons, the history of theater, etc

I loved Gluckel of Hamelin.

She was a very strong and intelligent woman who lived in Germany in the 1600s. I loved getting an insight to her era, and it amazed me how some things just never changed over the past few centuries. Her diary reads almost like a novel, and her life story is definitely fiction worthy.

Thanks!

I like to put the likely monthly winner on hold at the library, and it wasn't coming up. I found it!

Sorry haven’t been on top of t!
Could someone start a thread announcing this as winner? Or I will do it later.
Sorry, have been preoccupied.
