I make it like that for rh.
But my recipe is approximate
5 tablespoon dry yeast
6 cups seltzer or water or a mix
1 tablespoon salt
1 cup honey
8 cups ww flour
8 cups white flour (preferably high gluten)
1.5 cups oil
Proff yeast
Mix all liquid, add flour 1 cup at a time alternating ww and regular flour.
Add salt mixed with flour.
Knead for 10 minutes, let rise until doubled, shape let rise.
Paint with egg wash, add sesame, paint again.
Bake for 1 hour for medium to large at 350
You can adjust measurements depending on taste and consistency

bobeli, I like your recipe size!
That's actually my barometer for Jewish recipes which I find on Google.
Serving size: 2 portions = some WASP made it up, and it's going to be terrible.
Serving size: 2 elephants, and a moose, and a little bit left over in case you get hungry, mammale = bring it on!!!!!!!

I use the recipe in the biography (not the BY cookbook) with less flour, and for RH and Shavuos will use about 3/4 or so of a cup of honey. It comes out really well, bH.
