So my child recently received some early intervention therapy, in Rockland county, via a local agency and was discharged about a year ago. Insurance fidelis. Recently I received a request from the agency to sign for authorisation to release the records of therapy sessions to a company called ciox health, affiliated somehow with fidelis. It doesn't seem like, from my conversation with the agency, that this is standard. Im wondering what this is all about and why my child was picked for review and what are they looking for? Can any therapists way in?

Ciox health is a company that manages and exchanges medical information on behalf of the insurance company. Your child's chart was chosen randomly. Its nothing to worry about. The provider just needs to send the patients chart to the company.
