I was never called for jury duty when I lived in the US and we don't have jury trials here in Israel but I understand that the judge instructs ("charges") the jury about what they must determine that the prosecution has proved (and to what standard) in order to convict, and that the jury can ask the judge questions about that during deliberations if something isn't clear to them.

If I'm feeling the person is guilty I couldn't go against that for something that bad. BH it's not a big thing that happens here very rare to be on jury duty actually never heard
