24 year old is going to Israel. Comes back only to visit to NY for a few days. The policy I bought and did not read is for the year but only the first 45 days of each trip. So he will be covered from tomorrow till 45 days then when he comes here for Rosh Hashana to NY he goes back to Israel and is covered over there another 45 days. I did not realize this.
So can he purchase insurance there? Someone told me that doctors there bill here. Is that legal? I dont do stuff that is shady.
Besides for aliyah which he will for sure not do, what else can he do?

I'm not sure if I fully understand your post. You can get aim /harel/egert Cohen insurance that costs about 500-600 a year. One of the plans are cheaper I forgot which one. Or he can get meuchedet- which is what a lot of bochurimget on student visa.. However it won't cover hospitalizations until after at least 6 months. Alternatively, you can try calling Chaim vchessed for help.
