Apparently the mass reaming out of closets and wardrobes is resulting in millions of tons of clothing entering the waste stream.
Thrift stores can't resell fast fashion and even when it's sent to Africa, nobody wants it.
Because DH and I needed to take a walk on a rainy day, we went to Palisades Mall, where much of the square footage is devoted to fast fashion.
Environment enthusiasts are advocating getting off the fast fashion treadmill and buying fewer but better pieces and wearing them for longer. Sounds kinda boring and bad for the economy.
Are we going to see a time when clothes take longer to go out of style?
