What are the pros and cons of getting a wig with highlights? Do highlights affect the quality of the hair?

If you're washing it yourself, does it require a specific type of shampoo?

I would recommend buying a pre-highkighted wig so that you dont have to put work into it. If you decide to put highlights into an unhighlighted wig, have a professional do it. Wash and set how you like.
