Three day yt is extremely difficult for me mentally and emotionally. Because of childhood traumas and because of some current situations. There are none of the regular distractions available.
Even a regular long shabbos has me counting down the minutes for the last 2-3 hours.
Share with me some of your tried and true methods to survive intact.

It's not easy for me either
I try to take a two - three hour walk every day of YT, keep close to my regular eating and sleeping schedule and buy special reading material to be read over those three days.
Following this thread and hoping for better advice

I'm also dreading it.
Even though I hate cooking, planning my menu helps a little. It's fun. Somewhat. We're trying to go a little out of the box so it's fun menu planning with the kids. The actual cooking part, though? Yeah, not excited. If I could pay someone to cook my menu, I'd be the happiest person ever.
I LOVE flowers and plan on going all out for the floral decorations and table settings. So at least I'll have somethings pretty to look at for 3 days.
Good books, escaping for a little, even if to your room, if you can, buying yourself something nice if your budget allows, maybe?

Visiting some people or going out some meals or inviting guests over can break the monotony
