This year is no different than any other year. Some yeshivos are off for 3 weeks from after Tisha b'Av until Rosh Chodesh Elul, while others are off the entire month of Av, starting from Rosh Chodesh. Some yeshivos in NY end earlier as they go upstate for the summer.
