Not yet sorted into meals but we are having milchig/pareve twice -- once salmon, once halibut with a salsa rustica.
Appetizers will be gazpacho, zuchinni soup, probably cold melon soup too. I repeat.
Two milchig desserts (plus iced coffee with ice cream for whoever wants it) -- Greek yogurt cheesecake and Big Crumb Rhubarb Coffee cake from the NYT. Pareve meals; desserts will be a chocolate pie and cut up fruit.
I will grill chicken cutlets and also a piece of London broil -- that's 3 more meals.
Side dishes: Israeli salad, greek salad, fennel salad, roast asparagus, roast cauliflower and leeks, wild rice salad, and another carb side dish. I was walking through a street fair yesterday and saw a lot of people eating something interesting (not kosher so I couldn't try it) -- it looked like flat round corn cakes sandwiched with melted mozzerella cheese. If I get inventive I may try that as the 2nd carb.

I would love to get ideas about how to plate things nicely. Should I start a new thread?

Yes! I’d love to hear! Sometimes when I dont have time to patchka I find that plating makes such a difference: even something as mundane as a meatball becomes exotic when put on a tiny little clear plate with a fancy toothpick in the center! Squiggles of dressing on a plate look so nice and my children love anything on a stick- I put roasted vegetables on a skewer with deli in the middle and it was a hit! I’d love to hear your ideas

Shabbos is usual, I might even be eating out shabbos day. It's too late here at night for a big sudah so I'll make a veg soup and fish as main with sides. First Day we are eating out so 2nd day, fish, chicken, fried rice with veg or mash potatoes with side and compot. Haven't thought it out completely yet.

It’s only four meals in my mind since shabbos is the usual fare

Cherry compote
Apple strawberry compote
Broccoli soup
Butternut squash soup
Cabbage and noodles
Blended beans
Mashed potatoes
Tongue
Some kina roast
Flanken
Salmon
Karp
White fish

I only make three mains and three sides since there are always leftovers and the first day YT everyone is still full by the time the second meal rolls around. If I have time I might make a pie but no one eats it it just sits pretty. And I’ll add some leafy greens to the main plate to make it look pretty.
