Theyre so comfortable in hot weather bec you dont need stockings. They can be worn with sneakers and socks.

Slinky skirts are too casual looking for the neighborhood I live in. Women here only wear the slinky skirts with a snood for walking, and around their house.

I just got permission to wear them, so in or out, I'm wearing mine!

Amazing! Yasher koach to you. Enjoy.

I have seen some great maxis lately, including dresses.

I think they're timeless- but maybe that's because I'm biased and I hate wearing pantyhose.

That being said, I think it makes sense to buy 1 or 2 new ones every year to keep things fresh. Anyone have good suggestions where to buy?

You can pry my maxi skirts out of my cold, dead, hands! I will fight to the death to defend my maxis, fashion be d@mned.

I love that no matter what you do, they always stay well below the knee. Isn't that the definition of tznius?

The no-pantyhose thing is a major bonus as well.

I find the best deals at thrift stores, and on Ebay. Ali Express has a lot of them listed, too.

I've been wearing ankle length tent size flowing skirts ever since I got to Israel, and in my mixed community I get away with it.
But I'm an anti-fashion monster, anyway.

Just got rid of all but one of mine because I realized how out they are in my area. No one is wearing. I really like them for around the house organizing tasks.

They're always 'in' my personal style. Tzniut, comfortable and flatter me.

I like solid or two tone (not big on corloful or floral prints) maxi skirts with solid tee and a color belt to pull it all together.

It seems like stores are selling and so many are wearing long skirts. Like cotton or denim materials with a bit more tailoring or details then a slinky.
