Their size chart makes no sense. How's the fit at the waist? Does it run very small?

I'm a size 18-20 right now and I wear a 3x from these. They're stretchy material. The black one goes for weekday, shabbos, park ,store, I really live in them. They wash really well too.

I'm looking for tops that I can wear on Shabbos/Yom Tov. Summery, dressy. (Does not have to be majorly fancy). Please help! I'd like to order some this week. I will wear them with solid black, or grey, or brown skirts.

Questions:
Are dresses more in than 2 piece outfits now? I don't think I look good in dresses because I'm not the same size on top and on bottom. Does anyone else feel this way?

I have the same issue. About a size 4/6 on top and 10 on the bottom. I have tried on dress after dress after dress, and have kept none.
I have come to the conclusion that I'd rather look good in what I wear than be in style. Confused

I'm bigger on bottom than top (like 10/12 on bottom, 6-8 on top) but I have a tiny waist and for some reason a line dresses look really good on me.
