She is now temporarily benched for all active things. No basketball, machanayim, gymnastics, running, trampolining, etc. This is what usually occupies most of her free time. She has been doing more screen time than usual, a lot of reading, and crafting and art, al of which she likes, but she has a basic need to move. She's getting really upset about it all, especially since she's not hanging out with her friends- it's too hard for her to watch them do things she can't. She is also in pain, which doesn't help.
Any ideas?

Sorry for you and her. My dd had this a year ago. It was a hard 6 weeks in the summer. No swimming.
Can you take her to museums?
Learn keyboard or guitar? If she can refocus
It might help.
Refua shelayma.

It's hard but kids heal very quickly. This shouldn't last but a couple weeks at most. What does the doctor say?
