Wow! Since when? What happened, not enough girls? Or not the type of girls they wanted? How will that impact them going forward?

Is Machon moving?
I saw that Rachmastrivka girls school purchased Machon building.

They're only three classes next year, so I'm assuming that they don't have to move.

I think people are mixing up Oz vehadar with BY of Bensonhurst.
Rebbetzin Kalmanowitz was originally in BY of Bensonhurst.
She left to open Oz Vehadar but was never successful.

What makes you think that people are getting mixed up?
Oz Vehadar served a very important need in the community.
It closed down and unfortunately there's no school left to serve that need.

What s never succesful?
I know many outstanding OzVehodor graduates.
The school closed due to lack of funds and people badmouthing the school regarding being open-minded in accepting girls other schools would not take.

I’ve just never heard it described as a successful school.

It was very successful for the students that needed it. How much good would it do if every single school catered to the exact same type of student?

Oz vehadar was an amazing and successful school. It didn't survive because of financials.
Machon is as close to it as it gets. Sadly, there's nothing else like this in Brooklyn

Most students were regular bais yaakov students , a few were weaker students or students with hashkafa issues.
All students got along and no one looked down on others. The staff cared for every student.

I feel very strongly about this due to a bad experience.
IMO, it is better that these schools do not exist, and these students are integrated into the hashkafacially strong schools.
The only reason why there is a so-called need for these type of schools is because of the resistance of the BY schools to accept students who are academically weak or do not fit the perfect mold.

It could be it started off like that.
From what I recall the solid BY students transferred to BYHS when the split happened.
I know my niece and her friends did.

What about BCA Bnot Chaya? Call them and look into to see if it’s a right fit.
