I wonder if someone here can give me a recommendation for an appropriate bais medresh yeshiva for a 18 yr old boy who went to main stream yeshivish yeshivos all his life, is very smart, but very unmotivated. He will never show up to davening or shiur on time. He needs a place that will be ok accepting him like that and helping him work on that and be on top of him a little. Somewhere that can encourage structure and motivation without dismissing him for not being good at that. Really needs to be somewhere accredited so he can one day earn a degree. Yeshivish. White and black and hat to every minyan.

Good luck - please let me know when you find it! I have a 12th grader who sounds similar - always in normal, mainstream yeshivos, but struggles greatly with motivation, responsibility, commitment, etc.
He tried a place last year that is extremely rigid and structured, but was miserable and couldn't even finish the year there. He's much happier where he is now - as mainstream as they come - but basically because they don't push him and let him continue doing - and not doing - whatever he chooses. Maybe try calling Rabbi Binyamin Strauss in Lakewood, who specializes in finding the right yeshiva for each bochur.
