I would stop for a night in Vegas. Cheap hotels and breaks up the driving

Google maps says it's about 7.5 hours. We've done longer drives than that in a day, and I imagine it's almost all straight interstate, which is easy driving. But if you're worried about the long drive, break it up over 2 days with some activities along the way.

We did a long drive like that through the night. The kids slept in the car and Dh took a long nap that day.

Weve done it! which part of the Grand Canyon? we did Arizona to Nevada to LA . it was a great drive. We did it without children. I dont recall how long it took.

My dh is by himself, but he does that length of a trip twice a week and it's not easy. A break is great.

We did it twice. Once when our kids were smaller and once when older. when the kids were younger, we stopped on the way at some places with things to do to break it up. When older, we went straight through. Ask me if you have any questions!

Yes-- thinking of that "triangle" Glad to hear you did it.... so it's not too much. (We are also without the kids ) thanks!!
