We are renovating and trying to do it having in mind resell value (we’re not sure if we’ll stay in Brooklyn long term). Doing radiant heat will cost us an extra 30k. Will we get that money back when we try to sell or having central heat with a connected humidifier and air is also good? The 30k is not going to come easy at this point but we can do it if it really will add value.

I'd ask an agent (which I'm not), but I wouldn't count on getting that money back. There are so many factors that go into the price of a house that there's no way to assume that the radiant heat will increase the value, unless you're also confident about location, neighborhood, other amenities, etc. Personally, I love radiant heat, and if you're doing it for yourself, I'd encourage it, but to stress yourselves to do it because you're counting on recouping it at resale, I wouldn't advise it.
