I have a younger brother (19) who went to Israel for a year and greatly "frummed out." Whereas before he was not keeping shabbos, now he is keeping shabbos/kosher fully and learning seriously. He is sweet, gentle, and already making plans for marriage and his future as a frum man/husband/father.
He needs to come back to the NY area for the July and August (before going back to Israel to continue his learning) and he does not have a place to stay. He used to stay in his older brother's house, but the older brother does not keep shabbos. I am worried that it would be a terrible influence right now.
The rest of his family does not live in the NY are and does not have space or means to help him. Is there anyone who could take him as a boarder for July or August? He will be working part-time, bezras hashem, attending a sister's wedding, and visiting family. He won't be hanging out much at home. I just want him to have an environment to come back to that will support and encourage all the growing that he has done.
Any leads are appreciated! Thank you so much. I am willing to pay the going rate for such things.
