They sell a jug with a filter in the center. Fill with coffee grounds. Let sit overnight. Next morn put in a cup with ice and milk or creamer etc..

When I really want to treat my teens, I buy a box of Java House cold brew cups. They taste like store bought iced coffee (prepared with sugar, water, and milk...)

ETA: You can also get Dunkin Donuts cold brew - you soak it overnight in a pitcher of cold water, then you add more water, sugar, milk to taste...went over very well over here.

I have the BEST recipe!

Brew hot coffee.
Have kids.
Get distracted.
Drink iced coffee.

I saw this joke once online, but it totally describes my relationship to coffee. My dh and kids laugh at me all the time, drinking my lukewarm or cold coffee.

It might be called a cold brew pitcher. My DH uses it.

We make a pot of regular coffee and pour into a pitcher and put it in the fridge. Then when it's cold add milk and sugar to taste in your own cup over ice. We like to buy the Starbucks flavored syrups. They have an ou. You can buy them at any location you just have to ask for a whole bottle.

I just make hot coffee, add sugar so it dissolves easily, then mix with ice and milk. Sometimes I make extra coffee to keep in the fridge so I can add the ice and milk later for a second cup.
Of course, like Frumwithallergies, I usually end up with cold coffee in the winter as well. No ice needed! Wink

Make very strong coffee and sweeten it. Pour it into ice cube trays. Blend it with milk.
