I just bought cute ones in royal family for my son. It comes in red too for girls. They said it is made as well as a shoe . It is cut open completely in front and partially in the middle towards the buckle. It is comfortable and doesn't squash his skin. It was 62. Regular sandals are 40ish but no where near supportive

Thank you, this is exactly what I was referring to. I was there yesterday and this is what they showed me and tried on. It looks great on her and very supportive but was hoping to find cheaper.

Yes, they aren't cheap but they are prob the most supportive ones they had. Probably can only find cheaper in non Jewish stores, though probably not as supportive. Maybe check online at famous footwear

I mentioned this another thread.
I don’t know what sizes they have left, but check out your shoo on Instagram.
Look for the post on June 3rd for $30 sandals.

Zara also has some cute sandals.
I think I saw some for $30 and up on the website.

Supportive enough for first pair of shoes?

Stay far away from Zara shoes if you want support and good fit! Saltwater sandals with the chunky sole and double straps with buckles. They’re 30-35 you can buy anywhere. I’m a huge fan! Waterproof, machine washable, cute, affordable , and supportive.

love the saltwater look but I would never get them for my almost 20month old son. They are open toe, he would fall once and scrape all his toes.
you can try:
https://oldnavy.gap.com/browse.....36281

or

https://www.zara.com/us/en/lea.....pcart

or

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q.....DB52Y

which I just ordered for him. I dont think any sandals really give much support...

Saltwater sandals are not good for babies. They're adorable but I always cringe when I see them on a new walker's feet. They can't walk!

I find that the cheaper sandals are just that.... Cheap. The sandals that I've mention ed before look like sandals but are made as supportive as shoes. I would find that portable especially for a first timer

I got robeez for my new walker. They have an adorable pink cross cross sandal. Soft soles are more ideal for new walkers.
