Have frozen shoulder roast with netting around it. What is the best way to cook it? Crock-Pot? Oven? What temp and how long? Defrost first or cook from frozen? Any good sauce recipes with basic ingredients?
Thank you!!

You don't have to defrost it but cooking it frozen will add 30 minutes.
Crok pot is probably a good idea I just never tried it.
I cook it in a pot for 3-4 hours.

I always defrost the meat first. And then I either bake it or I cook it in a pot on the stove top .

Salt, pepper, bay leaves, garlic, onions and red wine. Cover and cook on low flame. Makes it’s own liquid.

How long would you cook that in a crockpot? On high or low? I have one without the netting.
