Hi!
anyone have any links/pics of shabbos shoe
(flats) that are in style this season?(Boro park preferably that's the fashion snob place)
I always wear heels shabbos , (3 inch) but need a pair of flats to wear under my robe(hate wearing crocs with my 185 dollar silk or satin or glitter or wtvr -robe, cheapens it!!) and for the times that heels are just not practical.
Thanks!!!!

Well, Louboutin makes flats

If you like throwing around the value of your clothes.

Otherwise, go for Rothys. Cute, comfy, machine washable.

OP, most people don't discuss their income, or how much their bathrobes cost, when asking for shoe recommendations. So I figured that you would want to be sure that everyone glancing at your feet would know you're rich; hence the Louboutin recommendation.

OP - I think should consider revising your post and you will get more practical responses. If you write that you are looking for fashionable, cute Shabbos flats that would look good with a nice Shabbos robe, you should get more reasonable responses without the sarcastic ridiculous suggestions.

I have been pretty successful finding such shoes at DSW.

(Although I choose to keep my robe really long so no one will see the Crocs!) Very Happy

It’s definitely essential that you share that information.

I

Well, yes.

Once OP started discussing how much money her husband makes, and how much money she spends on her various robes, it seemed obvious to me that she wanted to wear shoes that demonstrated to everyone that she's wealthy.

Now, if she just wants comfortable shoes, these are the most comfy shoes I've ever worn.

I don't know why people have to nitpick. She wrote her post that way to show the type of footwear she wants to sync it with. The quoted price is pretty average in frum robe stores, and I don't think its a sin to shop in frum stores. She's not going to Manhattan and custom ordering who knows what and she's not obligated to get a $20 robe on ali that may or may not arrive/fit/survive more than a month, etc.
Similar for her follow up post about DH earning. She wants to show that the high price tag its ridiculous bec. its ridiculous, and totally unrelated to her income.
I totally see why she wrote both pieces of info and how its relevant to the post. I feel sorry that people are so quick to jump on this.
BTW, I wear my crocs too, with my robe. Not only that, but they are hand me down crocs! I can't see myself ever replacing them.
