Tonight I am making a cheesy pasta dish: layers of pasta, sauce, cottage cheese and yellow cheese. It will be eaten on Shavuos. I am assembling it tonight. Should it be baked and then frozen and then reheated on Shavous? Or should it be frozen unbaked and baked on Friday and reheated Shavous night?

Actually, it is for someone else. They will either put it in the oven or on the platteh (hot plate).

I would freeze it unbaked. The cottage cheese will lose its consistency when frozen, but at least it won't be burned when they reheat it.
