Lkwd; Bored Dear Son; Trade schools? Eng/Math classes/tutor?

Does anyone have a good suggestion?

My son is in Yeshiva in Lakewood.
It's a good yeshiva in some important ways.

He is very engaged in morning seder and night seder
(we hired someone to learn with him.)
He also goes to shachris, mincha and Maariv, which is all very gratifying to me,
as this was not always a given.

My concern is all the down time; from 2 pm until 8 pm. (6 hours)

He is so bored during that time; there are a few classes during this time
that for various reasons he does not attend. Limudei chol is a joke... not stimulating and a complete waste of time.

I am looking for something for him to DO during this time,
since boredom is so destructive.

If I could find him a talented teacher for English and math, I would pay for that.

Alternatively, if there were a trade school type program I would be interested in that.

There are no gyms open for boys during those hours.

If anyone is aware of programs in Lakewood or people who can teach/tutor or otherwise help boys in this situation, I would be much obliged.

I called a s'forim store to get him a job and the manager had nothing available
but did tell me that many boys are in the same boat..
He actually said that if he were to open a program for bachurim who are bored
during the afternoons he would make a lot of money!

I am flexible and open to many ideas... please share.

My husband might be able to help you. He has a bunch of boys he helps in various ways. He has a "farm", does construction kind stuff..finds other work for them etc.. if you are interested pm me and I will give you his number. He may have a good idea or the right person to connect you with.
