Had to google what that is... looks yummy, and I have a bag of spinach in the freezer! Did you make your own paneer, or find a place to buy it kosher, or substitute? Please post recipe!!!

I found it at Costco, but it is in 3lb blocks. I made my own paneer. It's a fun project that you can do with your boys. FranticFrumie suggested this. Paneer has a special taste. I wouldn't substitute farmer cheese.

I also made my own gram marsala. It was easier than going back to the stores eruv Shavous. I think you can buy this kosher. Many of the spice mixtures I had to make myself are now showing up in kosher.

I used fresh spinach.

Pulled brisket with Stacy's pita chips!
Just threw brisket into crockpot with a cab of coke (not diet!) and a bottle of bbq sauce.

Thank you mha3484 . This recipe is now a family favorite from DH down to the youngest. Nobody left any over on their plates.
Lasagna spinach and artichoke roll ups . Note: I did not use artichoke and it was still delicious. I also used store bought marinara and it was just perfect.

So I’m not reading through all the posts now, but most of what I made was a hit, and I have very minimal leftovers.
Here is my menu, minus the stuff that wasn’t a hit:

Cram of broccoli soup (I topped with shredded cheese in each bowl)
Lasagna (my daughter made, its her thing that she does every year)
Mock eggplant parm (it was just plain eggplant, sauce, and cheese, didn’t do anything to the eggplant before)
Breaded cauliflower with mustard/mayo/cheese
Lamb/corned beef/veal cubes (made each with a different sweet or sweet and sour recipe)
Turkey burgers
Honey mustard cauliflower
Skirt steak salad
Chicken fried caulirice
Lamb chops
Kani endive boats/tempura rice balls over kani salad
Corn beef 3 ways (3 different sauces)
Ribs
Spiced broccoli (cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, olive oil)

I also made the following desserts: (they all went really well)
Peanut butter cheese cake
Rum and coke cake
Cherry custard jars (I made them in cups)
Creamsicle ices

And I made Reese’s pieces cheesecake brownies for breakfast.

I don’t usually make dessert or cheesecake, but these all looked so good, and pretty easy to make

DVOM, can you post your recipe? Sounds really good!

My dietetic cheesecake came out pretty bad, but of course, being the Jewish mom that I am, I bought a (fattening!) back-up plan! That was pretty good Smile

This pareve quiche came out good and I liked that I didn't need onion soup mix: https://www.gimmesomeoven.com/.....eggs/

4ish/5ish hours. Once it was cool enough to handle, I shredded it. It was addictive!

I made all kinds of fancy stuff for shavuos, but the main winner was the simple risotto I threw together at the last minute. Just made a sauce of one part tomato sauce to two parts cottage cheese, salt and pepper and threw in some sliced black olives and some basil and everyone LOVED it! With the olives and fresh basil it looked really fancy and the whole thing took 5 minutes to prepare.
