Day school uniforms

I’m so upset. My child’s dayschool just suddenly announced a new uniform policy for next year. No input from parents. Just a sudden announcement that all shirts can only be one color with the school logo that can only be ordered from one preapproved vendor. And only one color pants now allowed. This was not an expense I had budgeted. My child already had brand new uniform clothing I purchased on super sale months ago that I was planning on him wearing next year. Now about 75% of his current uniform clothing he can’t wear next year! What a waste of $$!! I would totally be okay with a uniform change if the school first asked for parent feedback and made a gradual change. Thanks for listening to my vent. I have already contacted the administration about my opinion on this matter and have asked them to reconsider this sudden policy change.
