Just a modest update of what a devoted wife I was over Shavuos
Don't worry, I asked ZanvZevul if Gaiva is okay, and he said that if it inspires other Noshim to emulate my awesome amazingness, then it's a Mitzvah Gedola!
Anyhow- guess who stood next to Hagaon Harav Zanvel Zevulun ALL SHAVUOS NIGHT with a drink in my hand, in case of thirstyness?! Yup! Yours truly!
I'm typing with my left hand, since my right one is still just a touch paralyzed, but- who cares?!
My Zeese 4 year old brought the twins to me when they needed to be fed.
Regarding bathroom breaks..... I...... managed.....cough, snort...
I'm just wondering about the strange dizziness I'm feeling since then Scratching Head
Now let's see who can top THAT

You know what, ladies?
Let's turn this into a real, "I'm proud of myself for" thread!
I'm so proud of myself for getting out of bed, and doing what needs to get done, even though I was really not in the mood!
I'm proud of myself for every time I hug and listen to my kids, even when it's really hard for me.

you are so funny, I could hardly get over it!! I think I'm gonna like this thread.

Lets see.

- Took out chicken from the freezer to defrost. Not that's definitely a nice start. Yay to me!
- Survived a pow wow between DC and I about bringing the latest fad to school a minute before his bus arrived. It wasn't an easy one, but I emerged in one piece and even to waved to him as his bus pulled out while cringing inside because, after all, he won.
- Switched batteries for the computer mouse, made an appointment, called my mom, watered the plants and fantasized about a vacation.
- Broke out into a huge smile to DH despite coming home much later than I expected.

Now that's ones a biggie, isn't it?

I finally went to the doctor after about a month. Would have liked to go earlier (There were valid reasons why I couldn't go in the meantime) but anyway.. this is about being proud of ourselves, right? So yay me!

Also took a much needed shower!

Pollyanna, you reminded me that I need to water the plants, call my mom, and fantasize about a vacation lol.

Good job with your kid and on breaking into the smile for DH!! I need to practice using those muscles as well!

I wanted to do absolutely nothing today. I needed a day like that. But instead I helped someone who needed something and it took up most of the day.

I have a zillion things to do, I'm yawning away, and I sat and listened to my preteen dd yelling, screaming and crying about- just about everything.
It was a blast Confused
But I'm proud of myself for being a listening, supportive Mommy, something I crave to this day.

I made peanut chews for Shavuos and forgot about it and every day I steal some and it's down to almost the end and I ate the entire thing myself...even though I'm supposedly on a no carb diet 🙈
