How do you make your pareve cholent flavorful? Every time I make it, it seems so bland without meat. Any tips would be appreciated.

I would put a generous amount of sauteed onions, diced garlic, onion soup mix, salt, pepper, paprika, a little brown sugar. That should make it taste pretty good.

Onion soup mix and coke. Not healthy but it does make it tasty.

I add in the normal cholent mix chickpeas tons of fresh onion barley or short grain brown rice.... Tons of potatoes... Garlic salt garlic powder onion powder papricka black pepper ketchup hot sauce chicken consume ... Eggs cover and cook normally my kids go crazy for it... I have been cooking it on stove top and before shabbat switching it to a Crock-Pot maybe that might also do a flavor change?

Saute onions in LOTS of oil. Be generous with spices and ketchup. I found that in pareve chulet lots of oil does the trick.

A few splashes hot sauce. Not enough to make it hot, but it gives a nice flavor

Great ideas! Wish I had sweet potato and hot sauce, too.

Fat and a good parve kishke.
Also make sure you're flavoring sufficiently with onion, garlic, salt, paprika as well as brown sugar and ketchup if you want those flavors.
Since there's no raw meat in there, it's super easy to taste the liquid on a spoon and make sure it's super flavorful before you turn it on to cook.
