Never. I consider it a form of social child abuse.

Until he starts shidduchim.
That will ensure the girls stay away until he is out of the freezer. LOL

I have never actually seen a boy wearing such a thing -- possibly apart from George and Louis -- and would never actually put my kid in them. But whatever floats your boat.

Till 3. Normal yeshivish/litvish from flatbush. My son is 2 and a half, and still wears bubble shorts and a blonde bun in his hair, and everyone thinks hes a girl! I love it, though. He's got the best bod.

Ok. Thanks. Unless my baby was a British prince no way. It looks like the poor kid had a diaper explosion

Mine wore till past three. But he doesn’t have peyos so he still has a very babyish look. And lots of people thought it was weird. But it’s none of their business. I thought he looked adorable. Now he’s 3.5 and I did not buy him any for his spring/summer wardrobe.

Yes. I deserve to get back at him a little for all the trouble he's caused me.

That reminds me of all the time I told my babies that certain diapers were ultimately going to come out of their allowance.

Did I enter a time machine? Is this Imamother circa 1900?

Its not their business to tell you how to dress your child - but to have an opinion over how your child looks - hard not to. (I would hope people had the social sense not to tell you they think your child looks weird)..

Let me guess. After they outgrow bloomers they move into skinny leggings/pants?

That seems like the perfect age to skin a knee. Poofy trousers - fine, he's not going to remember anyway. But where is the rest of the trouser leg??

Anyone else find this post rather creepy?

Why would anyone want people to think that their boy is a girl?

That's a little harsh.

OP's son (or his future wife) may like the look and choose to dress his children the same way.

Children are not chihuahuas. If you want to play dress up with silly outfits, get a dog.

This travesty brings back memories of public school gym suits circa 1960. Thank G-d I went to Hebrew day school and we barely had gym, let alone gym suits. They were awful then and they’re awful now.
