Does anyone know where Trader Joe’s gets their babka from. I know the ou has stated it is pas Yisroel but I want to know if it comes from a bakery with other hechsheirim as well.

Almost positive it comes from a bakery in williamsburg...if you call the kashrus company( ou) they can tell you...

It's also yoshon....there for sure is some bakery probably in Brooklyn somewhere making them and if so, very likely at least one other hashgacha is involved, but what do I know?

That is what I am trying to figure out because some people I host will only eat food with a different hechsher as well

I believe the babka and black and whites come from Mezonos Maven.

I think the Costco babka is from Mezonos Maven. I am not so sure that TJ's is the same.

The black and white cookies are Irenes. I have had them from Whole Foods and they taste the same.

Are you referring to the Half Moon Cookies ( black and white)?
