First time I heard it I wondered why a guy is singing a verse from licht bentching.

It made perfect sense to me, it’s a refillable of a parent for their children. Dh could say it too if he wants.

I never liked the pesach blues because it always felt demeaning that a man was singing about it being a woman's "job", the pesach cleaning.
On the other hand, some songs are really perfect lyrics and it doesnt matter who is singing, man or woman.
One song that came to mind was Nachman Stzer's "Silent Scream".

That's if you take it out of context. The whole Tefillah is said from the perspective of a female.
Don't worry, I was used to it when Uri Davidi sang "Ana" (you know, bizchus imoseinu)

It's nice and perfectly appropriate for a father to daven for good kids.

Again, I'm not disputing that. The whole Tefillah is a women's Tefillah. It was weird to me to hear a man singing it.
