I don't know if I or one of my roommates owned this book, and I don't know if it was all about cholents or only one chapter.
But I remember it featured cholents from all around the world, including one from Italy which had delicious large meatballs (more like hamburgers) in tomato sauce (fresh parsley & garlic etc) and then you would put your pre-cooked pasta on top of the cholent pot to get warm & serve the meat & sauce over it.
Not that I am going to make precisely this recipe. More like I am in a nostalgia period & would love to find the name of the cookbook which maybe I can find used.
Anyone have a clue?

It might be this one which was published in 1973.
But I'd love to hear from someone who owns the cookbook, if it's the one I want.
