I have been noticing something locally , and see that there is similar notion going on the Doona thread
For those who are not aware, car seats are NOT strollers , nor are they cribs.
It is not healthy nor safe for many reasons. Mothers, I know everyone means well, so please do your due diligence. Just because you see it done does not mean it is ok.

The doona is not only a car seat. It's made in a way that it is both, a car seat "and" a stroller. It got approved for use of both before it could reach the USA.
It's more spacious and a bit different than a regular car seat. When it's opened as a stroller it lays more flat than when it's a car seat etc etc.
