Packaging says it’s for 3 and up.
Can I use it for a 22 month old?

Not sure, but the website does say it has to fit snugly to work - will it do that, at least?

How do you know that hes nauseous? At that age they cant communicate tis yet.
If he is indeed naseous then there are anti naseau meds he can take like zofran.
