I saw something nice the other day- if we define one wrong move as a fall, why don't we define one right thing as a total success?

This is amazing. I think I need to tape this one up on my wall. Thanks.

OP don't fret. Just move forward, don't let this one slip up throw you off. You can do it! I am totally craving chocolate today and so thankful I don't have any in the house. (Except the baking chocolate chips which so far I have kept away from.)

Yes, fitness pal will give you more calories per day if you excersize.

Adjusting your diet based on your nutritional needs is different from doing extra exercise after eating.

Pretty much the same as eating extra because you excersized...

There is a plus and a minus. It doesn't matter the order. You get the same results.

Yes. There are only two ways to adjust your calories to be within the zone. Eat and exercising. They must balance.

OP, I just need to get the story straight.

1. How wide and how long was it?

2. Was it thick or thin?

3. Did it have any kind of flavored filling, such as caramel, crisp rice or almonds?

4. Did it have a cookie or wafer in the center?

5. Was it dark chocolate or milk chocolate?

6. Was there any kind of image imprinted on the chocolate itself?

7. How many such bars are left in your cabinet and what is the combination to your Shabbos lock?

Weight is only one small part of your general health. Dieting habits can be unhealthy even if they cause weight loss.

So no. The app does not say - oh you ate too much chocolate - go exercise.

Same thing.

If you exercise you get more calories that day. Therefore, people balance out when they eat over their calorie limit, by doing exercise.

Those aren't so big! Are you sure it's 500 calories?

ETA: I had to check! It's 440. No wonder I had so much weight too lose, I used to consider this as a one-person serving...

No not the same thing.

Imamother Tan's comment was about psychology - not physiology.

It does say when you are not in the target zone. There is only one way to be in the target zone.

X = CALORIES ALLOWED PER DAY BEFORE EXERCISE

Y = CALORIES BURNED EXERCISING

(X + Y) CALORIES ALLOWED PER DAY WITH TAKING EXERCISE INTO ACCOUNT

TARGET ZONE IS SOMEWHERE < X+ Y
There is a minimum that you must eat so as not to be on starvation mode.

It's really simple.
