Hi,
Were looking for a decent hotel/motel for Shabbos that is close by to a shul, we prefer Hunter. Anyone?

Tannersville has several options, while Hunter is much more limited. Is there a reason you specifically want Hunter?

The Fairlawn Inn in Tannersville is right across from the shul.

It was once the house of Harry Fischel, a famous baal tzedaka at the beginning of the twentieth century. He used to bring a minyan with him when he went up to his country. He built a mikva on the premises for his wife and daughters, though it's now boarded up. He also built the shul across the street after the older one burned down. He was a major contributor to YU and built Rav Kook's house in Yerushalayim, among other things. He even got Ellis Island to put in a kosher kitchen to feed religious Jews who were stuck there while going through immigration.

The current owners of the inn are not Jewish but are very proud of the heritage of the house, and very accommodating of their religious guests.

The Fairlawn Inn is in Hunter, not Tannersville.

Thanks all for the ideas, we are looking for something decent such as kaatskill mtn club but they are completely full. Any other ideas walking distance to shul condo/house or hotel suite?
Vrbo and Airbnb don't give options to select synagogue and I cant call a bunch of random places.

You're right. Just over the line. Anyway, it's right near the shul and could work.

Look at where the shuls are, and then use the map feature on AirBNB/VRBO to find rentals that are nearby/walking distance to the shul. We do this all the time.
